Make the most of warm-weather days at Oakwood’s pool—your spot for swim meets, laid-back lounging, and family fun. Our six-lane, 25-meter competition pool is the heart of the action all season long.

Monday – Saturday: 9am – 8pm
Sunday: 11am – 7pm
Oakwood Gators Swim Team
Join the Oakwood Gators and dive into one of our most spirited summer traditions. Open to members ages 4–18, the Gators compete in the Lynchburg Aquatic League (LAL), welcoming swimmers of all skill levels—from first-time racers to those with nationally ranked times.
With both morning and afternoon practices six days a week, the team is designed to fit a variety of summer schedules. Our experienced coaching staff focuses on skill-building, confidence, and positive competition, while our incredible volunteers create an atmosphere full of connection and celebration—game nights, cookouts, team parties, and more.
It’s about more than just swimming. It’s about friendship, fitness, and the kind of summer memories that last long after the season ends.
